Belgian company PDC BRUSH has gained a competitive edge by rapidly adapting its business
to this new trend.
In addition to building a new warehouse, we also continued to invest in the automated warehouse.

On Friday 8 December, our machines were exceptionally shut down earlier, at 4 p.m., to celebrate the inauguration of the new warehouse. We also took advantage of the opportunity to put Ann Rouseau in the spotlight again, during a small reception. She is retiring after having worked at PDC Brush for 27 years.

Read moreAn initial ISO 9001 audit was conducted on August 23rd. The audit controlled whether PDC Brush works according to the new ISO 9001 norm (2015). The main changes to this norm all concern higher management. PDC successfully completed this audit, obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification.
A water dispenser was installed in the production plant at the employees’ request. We chose to install a water fountain to reduce the environmental impact as much as possible. The fountain is supplied with filtered tap water, instead of delivered water. We also decided not to dispense plastic drinking cups. Every employee received a personalised metal water bottle instead
A new ERP version was implemented in early January.
The new warehouse is currently being built.
The company will take delivery of a new high-tech brush machine in October.
Substantial changes will be implemented in the automated warehouse this year.
The company has made investments to the tune of 2.5 million euros this year
On July 7th, employees and their families were invited to the “PDC Brush Beach” event. The atmosphere was great, with plenty of sun, delicious snacks, a barbecue and even a beach club. Go-cart races were organised in the warehouses. Several employees were even spotted on surfboards.
Everyone agreed that the party was a hit.

PDC Brush has changed the baseline in its logo to “Your Partner in Cleaning Tools”, as part of the implementation of its Customer Intimacy strategy.

PDC Brush received an award for most inclusive company of 2017 during a conference on sustainable and workable career policy. The award was presented in the presence of Marianne Thyssen, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility.

From April 3rd, we will make some drastic changes to our facilities.
We wish to create more space and work more efficiently and safer in our logistics department, which is why we are building a new 2,400-square metre building.
The building shell has been completed and the concrete floor has already been poured.
Rotary organises company visits for pupils in primary education to raise children’s awareness about the fact that technology is used throughout companies, and can be very diverse, challenging and fascinating. The idea is to stimulate interested children to choose a technical study programme. This week, PDC Brush welcomed the pupils of Sint-Amandusschool in Meulebeke.

In addition to being super-fast, this innovative machine is also very ergonomic. Those operators who have already worked with the machine have already voiced their enthusiasm.
